Technique for a Perfect 🧉 cup :

1. Fill your cup with your desired amount of a tea blend (minimum 3 tablespoons).
2. Cover your cup with the palm of one hand, or a lid, and shake.
3. Form a 45-degree angled slope of herbs.
4. Whilst maintaining a 45-degree angle, pour just enough room temperature water into the empty space of the slope to give the herbs its initial soak and to prevent them from being burnt.
5. Cover the mouthpiece of the straw as you plunge it into the water, resting at the base of the cup where the slope begins.
6. Fill the rest of the gourd with 60-65°C water and enjoy! (no temperature gauge? - the water should be hot enough to drink without scalding your lips or tongue).
7. Refill your cup as many times as you'd like until your tea has run out of strength.

💥 If your tea starts to taste too bitter, it means the ratio of water to tea is imbalanced, simply add more water, add less tea next time, or ensure you do not submerge all your tea on the first pour.
